Slated to officially re-open for the season on April 30th, the Independence Beer Garden at 6th and Market (just across from the Liberty Bell) has developed a new food and drink menu well worth making the trip down to Old City to check out.

Hours are 11am-2am, and the garden is opening up for an early preview from Friday, April 24- Saturday, April 25. As usual, the garden will offer cocktails, over 40 beers on tap, bar snacks, and a full food menu.

Wondering what Penn Appetit is excited to try? We’re planning on taking full advantage of the garden’s new rotisserie– the spit roasted beets and roasted half Lancaster chicken will be the first things on our plates.

Check out the full food menu here and take a look at their updated beer list  before you go.
