5th Annual Vendy Awards Tickets Available!

On Saturday, June 13th, The 5th Annual Philadelphia Vendy Awards will return to crown the coveted honor of the food truck culinary world: The Vendy Cup. The Vendy Awards will take place on the John F. Kennedy Bridge for five hours starting 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This year’s panel consists of local judges from Philadelphia and the surrounding region. The judges include Jonathan Deutsch, Professor of Culinary Arts and Food Science at Drexel University, Bryan Mayer, Owner of Kensington Quarters, Brian O’Reilly, Slyfox Brewmaster, and Mark Squilla, City Council’s First District. The judges will score the finalists in the Vendy Cup category, while attendees will cast their own vote for the “People’s Choice” winner as well as “Rookie of the Year” and “Best Dessert”.

Tickets for the 2015 Vendy Awards are on sale now. Tickets cost $65 for general admission, and, if any are still available, tickets sold at the door will be $70 cash only. Each ticket includes day-of people’s choice judging rights, unlimited trips to the participating trucks, a craft beer bar curated by Sly Fox Brewery, and an endless flow of red and white Italian wines by Santa Cristina.
