  • large head of cauliflower 1, broken into florets
  • flour 3/4 cup
  • water 3/4 cup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder 2 1/2 teaspoons
  • paprika 1 1/2 teaspoons
  • buffalo sauce 1/2 cup
  • cooking spray
  • ranch dressing optional, to serve
  • celery optional, to serve
  • carrots optional, to serve
  • Directions

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Break the head of cauliflower into florets, about 1 ½ inches per floret.

Prepare the batter by combining flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Whisk until smooth.

Next, coat each floret of cauliflower in a thick layer of batter. Place the cauliflower florets on the pre-prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake cauliflower for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. The cauliflower should be golden brown when finished baking.

Brush the buffalo sauce over the cauliflower until evenly-coated.

Bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cauliflower is starting to brown.

(Optional) Serve with ranch dressing, celery, and carrots.
