St. Patty’s Day Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies
Spice up your St. Patty’s Day celebration with some festive green cookies!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare 3 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
Next, beat the butter and eggs in a large bowl with an electric mixer or a whisk.
Beat the sugar and peppermint extract into the butter and egg mixture.
Combine the flour mixture with the wet ingredients.
Add the green food coloring to the mixture and mix until reaching a desired color.
Add the chocolate chips and fold the mixture until evenly combined.
Scoop the batter onto the prepared baking sheets. Each cookie should be about one tablespoon. Place each cookie 2 inches apart.
Bake the cookies for 8-12 minutes. They should just barely brown around the edges.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Enjoy!
